My experience with Content-Id and dispute

So, I made a journeylapse of Norway with my dash cam footage.
11 minutes long video, and naturally, I had to get some music.
Painstakingly went through free music resources, and got some nice music
"watch?v=sVbBfUWq3mU"

Guess what, I am shocked when I get a content ID match.
I immediately filed a dispute.

Now here is the important part. Never file a vague dispute. Be specific.

So I first gave the link to the original piece
The piece I was using was derivative of original.
I gave the link to that too.

Then I also pasted the license type (Commercial ShareAlike etc.,)

Full data with links and evidence was given.
Now the dispute filer would have to come up with a counter dispute, and they did not do so, because my case was water-tight.

Video is up and monetized for weeks now, and I haven't gotten another claim.
But maybe I got lucky, or maybe the system actually works in some cases.

Whenever I get a content ID match I'll either ignore it or just dispute with this paragraph "Copyright Disclaimer, Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for 'fair use' for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use." and it's usually gone either immediately or within the given timeframe Youtube provides.

I agreed with Liquid. When ever you place the fair use paragraph, YouTube will usually remove the claim.
