Music Videos?

I have always wondered if people that make those music videos with lyrics get paid for that? It is literally stealing music in my eyes. I mean I am not a music artist by any means. I am just curious how this works.

They are either claimed by the artist, which means the video maker is not making any money, or they are not monetized, or they are in fact stealing. But very few people get away with it for long, if any.

Ok thanks for the response. I thought that MAYBE since they were putting their own video to it that they were getting paid for it. I am glad it doesnt work like that.
