Yeah I've heard the same things about Machinima, and as far as the contract expiring, I don't believe my contract has an end date. I'm not a large channel so I'm hoping that they won't care if I leave. Also yes it very much matters who I am contracted with, regardless of my income. I don't believe it will do me any good to wait until I'm getting a huge amount of money/views from my channel, and then approaching Machinima and going "Oh hey, I know you guys are making a ton of money off my channel, but I can't just go now right?". I'd simply rather get out while the getting is good, so to speak.
Well that settles it for me. A 1.5x increase is enough to convince me. I'm going to get in contact with some of these other networks and see what my options are. I can't thank you enough for the heads up
