Machinima Partner Concerned

Laugh at your problems, everybody else does.
Hey guys, I'm just posting to ask if anyone has information about pricing on monetizable views for gaming networks. I've been signed up with Machinima for about half a year now and just recently have been hearing a lot about other networks outmatching them on payments for views. Is there an easy way to find out how much a network pays per view? With Machinima I didn't find out until I had the contract in my hands to sign, and obviously I wouldn't want to break any contracts I have with them for another company without knowing if the deal was better.

I know this sounds greedy, and I hope I don't come off that way. I'm mostly just concerned if I am being screwed over or not. One last question I have would be, does anyone have experience with getting out of a Machinima contract? I'd be interested to hear how it went, considering I've heard some horror stories about that as well.

Thank you very much for any help!

easiest way is to message them say you want to know your cpm? revenue %? and is it capped.

how much do you make monthly? whats your monthly views?

My monthly views range from 50-70k, and I make around $60 a month. Mostly due to ad block.

Networks themselves don't pay you, it matters what advertisers they get and how much then advertiser is willing to pay per 1000 views :) it also matters what adverts you have checked on your claiming options (I have all of them checked apart from the 30 second ads.

I have heard that until your contract is up, there's no getting out of Machinima unless you break the rules (and you want to be careful, as deliberate breach of contract can result in a law suit against you). Also, they allegedly 'own' any further channel you make (how I don't know, just what I heard).

Are you earning so much that you need to change right now? SocialBlade states at the most you're only earning a couple thousand dollars a year at absolute maximum. You may as well just stick with Machinima until your contract ends and then switch :)

Yeah I've heard the same things about Machinima, and as far as the contract expiring, I don't believe my contract has an end date. I'm not a large channel so I'm hoping that they won't care if I leave. Also yes it very much matters who I am contracted with, regardless of my income. I don't believe it will do me any good to wait until I'm getting a huge amount of money/views from my channel, and then approaching Machinima and going "Oh hey, I know you guys are making a ton of money off my channel, but I can't just go now right?". I'd simply rather get out while the getting is good, so to speak.

ouch 60k views a month is usually in the 90's with full screen i have found
Well that settles it for me. A 1.5x increase is enough to convince me. I'm going to get in contact with some of these other networks and see what my options are. I can't thank you enough for the heads up :)

np and check out fullscreen, vultra, rpm and see who throws you the best contract and remember contracts are negotiable.

A lot of these networks want me to "connect" my channel to them when applying. I'm not sure if this will have an affect on my relationship with Machinima or not. Also I'm assuming I want a "gaming" network, and not just a content network. I'd need to make sure they have the ability to let me monetize all my games, like Machinima does correct?
