Google wouldn't think of bailing them out. Nor would Google acquire them - they've made it pretty clear that talent-management isn't a business they want to be in.

That said, I could easily see them shifting into acquisition mode and being bought out by another YT network (and then likely dissolved).

I wonder if this might be good news for the "perpetuity contract" folks?

No one is in the perpetuity contract anymore. And google has invested millions in them once before, and they could do it again. I doubt any network (maybe IGN) has the money to buy them out.

Yeah the company must be worth multiple, multiple millions which most likely no current MCN company could buy out. They are much more than a Network on YouTube too.

They lost 13 million with Machinima Prime, and they are still not bankrupt. That means they must be worth a lot more money than we would think.
