So what would you recommend?
 
You have to first be a Machinima partner. Then, when they feel you are ready, they will give you access to Respawn or whatever other hubs you desire as a director. You can also request this as a partner if you feel you are ready for it. Directors generally have at least 5k subs (most much higher). In general, the directors are only big channels.
