Yes it is, sadly networks will rarely do anything to help promotion wise, unless your large enough that they can earn lots more ad revenue off your videos

Yep but its no different for people with networks, you will only get good promotion from your network if you are already getting high views per day, they obviously prioritise the people that are making them the most money (which is pretty logical).

Yeah I know the feeling. But honestly getting subs leads to a domino effect. The more you grow the more you will see getting to your channel. Just keep at it.
