For example you are a YouTuber who makes videos about the latest technology. And you give reviews about phones, ipads, tablets and pc's.
Then you are approached by a company such as samsung, apple ( just using an example )
And they want you to promote their new product which is the iphone 10.
They will then pay you to tlak about the product for the whole video.
You are normally sponsored if you have a high base of subscribers and views.

I dont get how youtube channel can sponsor other youtube channel. what does it mean? you get boxed?do you get a shoutout?

views, just like the person being sponsor and if they have a website they will probably add ads to it to gain revenue

Well if you 'box' someone's channel on youtube, you are putting them on your channel's main page.
Check out mine to see what I am talking about --> NerdzSquared
This is all a way of promoting your videos, and driving traffic towards your channel.
So someone will go to my channel, and see the other channels that I have 'boxed4boxed' with. They will then click on that thumbnail, and if they like the content that they see, they will subscribe.
It is a different way of gaining subs through views..
A shoutout is when your channel's name is announced in someone's video, and they tell all their viewers to check our videos out...
These are all little ways in which you grow your channel..
