I am looking into getting a lapel microphone by RODE soon but I am a little unsure how it all connects, I will be using it with a DSLR with the usual mic input, how would I go about recording the audio from the lapel microphone, is it a case of you clip it on and it wirelessly sends the audio to a receiver on the DSLR or do I need an external recorder like the Zoom? Any tips/advice would be appreciated as I have never worked with or owned one of these. Thanks guys
