Pretty much this. Channels like this live off the drama. If it wasn't for drama threads on these forums, I wouldn't even know Keemstars.

Also, he lost subscribers for this? From that disclaimer it's pretty obvious that he is just exploiting a loophole in Google's TOC, so why is anyone surprised by this?

I'm sure that YouTube is very aware of Keemstar and his channel. It is up to YouTube to enforce any rules that any channels are violating instead of a lynch mob.
