Just out of Curiosity......

A W2 is what you receive from an employer that you have worked for during that year. A W4 is the form you fill out to set exemptions. W9 is filled out if you are an individual contractor (small business). There are multiple 1099's (example: 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-MISC, 1099-K) This is the information I've gathered as being a Store Manager of a restaurant, and an investor.
