Something happened to my channel where this absolutely ridiculous amount of views (180,000+) hit one of my videos. I freaked out because I've heard terrible stories where people somehow pay for views and think for some stupid reason that it helps a Youtuber, so I contacted YouTube about it and removed the video to stop whatever the hell was going on. Thankfully, I re-uploaded the video and Google removed the crazy amount of views from my account. It's done and over with though (Thank God).

Wow, well that's crazy. Which video was it?

I wouldn't have recommended removing the video since YouTube is pretty good about auditing the view counts to make sure they're legit. At this point I assume the views were subtracted because you deleted the video.

I panicked lol. At least I notified YouTube of it just in case.
