Hi all,
I've just discovered that some cheeky person has copied 40 of my videos & used them to set up their own new channel.
Plus they're all monetized, which could mean one of two things .. upon uploading, YouTube has correctly matched them with my videos & therefore any monetization payments should go to me ... Or more worryingly, YouTube hasn't matched them to the originals & someone is profiting from my videos.
But how do I tell?
If the content has been correctly matched, then I might decide to leave it .. but if not, I need to submit a take-down notice.
Lastly, if I do need to submit a take-down notice, do I have to make 40 separate claims for each of the videos (hopefully not) or is there a `one form does all' method?
Thanks for any help.
Fuzzy.
