Just copped myself a Canon PSG7XMarkii

Youtubers tend to recommend flat or cinestyle or other Canon profiles in order to promote or sell LUTs. Neutral is good for slight grading but usually in clips shot without proper lighting blows areas in the picture bad. Dslrs do not give space for enhancements really. It is the huge difference between 4.2.0 vs 4.2.2 if you want to google it. Tweaking images in post too much does not produce crisp images sometimes but the opposite. Perhaps you want to shoot in a normal profile, make slight adjustments to your taste and save some time in post. :) From f4 and down (5.6 etc) you are clear in focus even moving a litle bit back and forth. Remember to adjust focus to your eyes. You might miss all the details, even your nose :p but if eyes are in focus, it usually is ok. Good luck! Edit: Iso can be set a little higher eg 400 no harm under 800 :)
