Its funny how partners are becoming obsolete.

Prior to the new 'One channel' coming out later this month, I am really getting worried!
Everybody who switches to this layout can get a 'channel banner' and almost anybody who monetizes there videos can get thumbnails!

Almost anybody can get partnered now days, so when is it that partners become obsolete?
Because of networks accepting almost anybody more then 50% of youtube members are partnered with no desire to grow there channel and earn fans but instead just purely care about the revenue!

I am sure many of you understand this but I just wanted to point it out :3.

Well if they are getting partnered for the money, they are going to surprised when their pay is cut. Getting partnered bring a lot more features than just a banner and custom thumbnails.

YouTube should allow anybody in good standing to have thumbnails. If it is true that they require monetizing videos to obtain that function, I don't like that policy.

Its not really, yes some features are being phased out, but think about it, those who make high quality content will still get the best contracts and pay.

haha oh man no new channel should get partnered the only reason i got partnered is i earn more money with a partner and i have a good partner manager to offer me ideas when i need guidance.. yea theirs a music library but i don't use it... click bombing is a thing of the past with the forms that are out. And my favorite reason to be partnered is instant monetization don't have to worry about adsense hiccups when a video doesn't pass review for any reason at all.
