Indie games are not why you go to Machinima. You go to Machinima if you need licenses and some brand name recognition. Other than that, there's no reason.

If I saw a small channel with a machinima logo , I`d click off...

I understand you disagree but your information is false.
Machinima, to my knowledge, does not possess any specific licenses at all.. The only licenses they have are for certain cinematic and trailer footage for movies and video games..

It has quite a few gaming licenses, like Microsoft, EA , EASports, ActivisionBlizzard , 2kgames and a few others.
