I just applyed to creator x. Dident really find any bad about them.
Creator X is what could be called a sub-network (a.k.a. affiliate network), created by VidStatsX & Fullscreen, the latter usually deal with users that drive a lot of traffic and views on their channels while Creator X focuses on “emerging creators”. What’s good about these networks is that you get a quicker reply (positive or negative), and are trustworthy when backed by known partners.
This is how they describe themselves on their official website:
We’re Creator X, a friendly YouTube network brought to you by the people at VidStatsX & Fullscreen. Our Goal is to provide an awesome partnership experience for motivated creators
Creator X Partnership Benefits
Audio Library: Thousands of royalty-free sound effects that you can include in your video without any worries.
Premium Sponsorships: Creator X’s brochure calls it Gorilla, which is basically a listing of premium ad campigns where you need to submit your video if you thinkg it’s suitable and if approved you will get much higher CPMs.
Payments: What worries the most to most users. Payments are monthly and made through Paypal.
Custom Dashboard: You will get access to Fullscreen’s dashboard which contains all the tools mentioned above and below.
FAM Library: They got you covered when it comes to music, 40,000 songs can be covered without worries of getting your video take down for copyright infringement.
YouTube Live: We don’t know if this feature is immediately available after getting accepted into the network but surely is mentioned.
Bulk Annotations: This feature allows you to create a single annotation on a video and replicate it to the entire uploaded video library, quite useful option for mass uploaders.
Channel Customization: Yes, as usual you get the option to get a clickable thumbnail and a banner
Channel Customization: Yes, as usual you get the option to get a clickable thumbnail and a banner
Better Ads: Other networks can offer up to an 80% revenue share, but they won’t get good advertisers, thus paying you a lot less per CPM.
Channel Promotions: They do take care of new members by promoting them in their Twitter account and their YouTube channel.
Money Matters.
Indeed, the first thing that comes to mind when looking for a YouTube Partner is what will be your cut. As this is an entry-level partner, expect to get more than 60% of the revenue generated during a period. If you were a much bigger user in terms of views, subscribers and audience retention, you’d be contacted by a major network instead of struggling to get accepted into one, thus getting a higher earnings share.
As most other networks, the payment can be made through Paypal.
Before Signing Up, Bear in Mind The Following.
Needless to say, if you created your channel yesterday and had 5 views already, you won’t get approved, even if the video is awesome. Certainly the subs and views threshold is lower than major partners.
You must upload at least 2 videos per month (barely nothing if you seriously want to make money with them)
The initial agreement lasts 12 months, but you must sent them a notice not to renew the contract at least 30 days prior to the end of the period, otherwise you will get locked in for another 12 months automatically.
The full agreement is not that long and you should print it and read it carefully so you can ask support further questions in case more questions arise.
All in all, if your channel is already a few months old, have a consistent/increasing amount of views, your rates are mostly positive and your subs increase on a daily basis (besides uploading quality videos), we highly recommend you apply to Creator X which is the right option as your first YouTube Partnership, they usually reply quickly and their support , unlike other networks which outsource their support to people that can’t quite write English.
