I'm a Youtube Partner but Without Perks

So, after applying about 10 minutes later, I received this from Youtube:

Thank you for your interest in the YouTube Partner Program. We recently made updates to the YouTube Partner Program to give more creators the opportunity to become partners. You are now a YouTube partner if you opt into monetization from your Account Settings and successfully monetize at least one of your videos by visiting your Video Manager. We made this change to expand access to programs and resources that help creators be more successful on YouTube.
If you are already monetizing your videos and are interested in additional features such as custom thumbnails and banners, please note that we are working to make more features available to partners over time, as we have done with long uploads and monetization. We also encourage you to opt into receiving email communications to stay up to date on the partner program and to learn about new skill-building or promotional opportunities. To opt in, please follow the directions outlined here.
You can learn more about the partner program by visiting our Help Center, and stay updated on the latest partner news from the Creator Hub.
Sincerely,
The YouTube Partner Team

It appears I will not be able to get the extra features until everyone gets them according to this. Argh, what are you doing, Youtube?!

I would guess you aren`t the only One who tried to become a Full Partner. It`s sounds more like they are trying to be simple Fair to all their current User who wants to start earn some Money on YouTube. :(

You can't use any copyrighted songs in your channel at all, even if Youtube allows it to stay up? I can keep mine up because I allow the companies who own the rights to add ads to those. There are only a couple like this because I'm very careful how I use materials. Mostly in little fun videos like the Rupaul's one, where I had to use Rupaul's song or the humor would've been lost.
No...I'm pretty sure they would reject you if you have any copywritten song.

I got partnership through http://fullscreen.net Go to the bottom of the channel page and click on Request for information. I can't guarantee anything but they partnered me and I am a small channel. You also can't have any copy-written stuff on there...like songs and what not.
man I tried fullscreen and they told me that u have to have 30000 views a MONTH! Im not to sure about this network thing... :(
