I think it's cool that he doesn't face the text. It's different.
I do think you avatar still need a change and youtube needs to add a background.

it's different but because of this and the fact it's not really facing anything just make it to me seem like a bit of an eye sore and distracts me from the text. But, that's just my opinion

overall it's nice :3 however maybe consider getting varying splatter brushes? I kinda could see some repetitive patterns :3
