My input:
I'll just List what I think is good about RPM from my past year with them:
- Unlimited AudioMicro Downloads
This is the only reason I like RPM
- Youtube Stats Insights
The YouTube stats that are never accurate?
- Support Forum
The support forum which is poorly written and constantly breaking for multiple people? Not to mention the downtime
- RPM Spotlight
You mean the video's which get lots of hate?
- Referral's
I don't get paid from my Referrals.
- Post your videos to their Social Media sites.
What Social Media Sites?
Despite my contract saying that I need to provide a level of service and then me being told I have access to these broken tools. I was told by support I can't leave because the quality of service is bad.
If I had the money, I would take legal action.
Hi there,
I'm sorry to hear that you've been a little unhappy, but allow me to address some of the issues you mentioned.
Insights: Our Maker Max insights are typically a few days delayed from YouTube since they are pulling the data from YouTube. Although it is a couple of days behind, it also provides a more detailed breakdown of your earnings that you can't get on YouTube.
Forums: Our forums are currently active and we are working on improving the service. A new version of the forums is set to be released very soon and our tech team is working hard on getting this available to all our partners. Ultimately, we want to be able to have the RPM community grow and collaborate on a forum that is functional and easy to use.
Spotlight: We can't control what people say on YouTube. Spotlight is a way for people to get more exposure, and sometimes people can be jealous of other people's success. That doesn't mean it is a bad video. We hope to encourage a positive and encouraging community. Those are the channels that will be most successful on YouTube, not the haters. We actively look for those types of channels and want those channels in our network.
Social Media Sites: We are a talent first network that provides the tools you need to succeed and thrive in the ultimately competitive YouTube space. Everyone is trying to be famous on YouTube, or trying to make money from their videos, and a network can be a great way to help foster that growth. However, it is a two way street and we encourage all partners to do a bit of work on their own creating great, high quality content and promoting their videos on social network platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter constantly. It is this consistency that is the key to increasing your audience.
If you want to talk about your contract further, please contact us through our support ticket system in Maker Max. We would love to resolve any issues you have there. Thanks!
