I got an offer from fullscreen- i´m not sure how to do the math...

What is fullscreens average CPM anyways? I mean not the gorillacampaigns, the regular videos.
And how is the process when i wanted to monetize a video that has been in a gorillacampaign, when the campaign is over? After the campaign i would nbeed to wait for a month right? In this timeperiod should i shut the video down and reupload without the gorilla inset?
I´d be happy to get more information about that- that would be really appreciated.

I´m glad you answered- thank you, your channel is very impressive and you seem to know what you are talking about :thumbsup2:
I read here in the forum that i´m not allowed to reveal the details of my contract but just to make it clear...you would say if they´d offer me a 70/30 deal. it would not pay off? What would be a good deal then?
80/20?
According to what you guys say i better stay away from fullscreen for now. Even if they seem to be the most rewarding and transparent network to me.

Whether a contract is good or not depends on your channel and what you want out of the contract. My goal for a contract was more money than I was making from Adsense. So for me, even a 90/10 contract would have been a bad deal based on what I was making before. I didn't care about anything else that Fullscreen had to offer. It's obviously different for everyone. We have friends to make the same or more money from a 70/30 contract, so it's possible if the conditions are right. So knowing that, what do you want out of your contract? Are you willing to trade a bit of money in exchange for access to tools that may help (not guaranteed to do so) grow your channel? Are you interested in getting some promotion for your channel? Are you OK with not getting paid for those videos that you upload to their hub for exposure?

Unless you have a gaming/music channel, I always recommend that you wait until your channel is larger so that you dictate the terms of the contract instead of you accepting whatever is offered to you. And stay away from long term deals. Let's say you decided to sign up for 2 years at 60/40. That's the deal that most would offer you right now based on your current monthly view count. But what about 2 years from now? Do you think you will still deserve 60/40? Or do you think you would want something better that reflects your channel size? That's how networks make their money. They pay you what you're worth now and pocket the difference in what you're worth at the end of the contract. I always bargain based on where I think I'll be at the end of the contract-and I will always keep the term length as short as possible so I can renegotiate a better deal that reflects the views that I'm generating.

Hellou everybody
Yesterday i introduced myself to the forum and i see here are so many nice people!" I´m sure to get help here.
Here is what is up with me and my channel. I got asked to join fullscreen-and actually that was the first time i started to read about networks so i´m pretty insecure about the negotiations.
I read so many confusing things that my mind is still 50/50 about this topic.
I hope you can give me advice how i can calculate if i could benefit from joining fullscreen or not.

So here is my key data:

I´m working on my channel since September 2011
I have 11.000 subscribers more or less devoted
I have about 30 videos
It normally takes me about a week to get over the 1000 views bar
In my analytics i can see that my current playback-based CPM is 4,52

So - regarding that i probably won´t do any gorilla campaigns because i´m to shy to show my pretty face :bag2: would i make more money with fullscreen or am i doing just fine with adsense alone?

Or would you recomend to just stop making such a big fuss and showing my face and doing all gorilla?

I read that normally the split is 70/30. So, what if they offered me that- purely hypothetical...
they did not- but what if they did?

I´m always trying to learn more about all this youtube-monetarization but it is so confusing ( :spin:GOOOSH) Please help me

I already read a lot other threads about fullsceen- but most of them are started by smaller channels or gamers who aren´t partnered at all and who would profit in a lot more ways than i would.
I actually got fully youtube-partnered a while ago and for me it would be just for da money *blingbling*

anyways ... i have no *bleep* idea what to do
:help:any advice about how to calculate would be really appreciated!
Thank you so much in advance for taking the time :inlove22:

We don't have set CPMs because we have one of the largest sales teams in the industry who direct sell ads resulting in higher CPMs for our partners.

I'd encourage you to show your face from time to time. Not just because you could do Gorilla campaigns but because it will help you relate to your audience more and build up a stronger viewership.

The revenue split is negotiable between you and the partner manager you deal with but keep in mind that splits are based on 30 day view averages. Not subscribers. You can look at sites like SocialBlade or VidstatsX to see what your 30 day view averages are. We normally say that a general rule to be accepted for partnership is 30k views a month however we make exceptions and partner people based on both statistics and content. Hope this all helps. Thanks!

so to get accepted to fullscreen it would be the entanglement of the content you put out and the 30k/ month more or less ? anything else ?
