How to record vlogs?

Hey! I know this is kind of a noobish question to ask, but what would be the best way for me to record vlogs with my Mac Built-in Facecam? Imo, the quality is decent (720p), but all I was wondering about was with what program should I try and record my vlogs since some programs f**k up the dimensions, etc. I have got e.g. Screenflow on my mac, but since it is mostly meant for capping screen (kinda like Fraps) I was thinking what would be the best program to record vlogs with? Thanks!

I assume if you're on a mac you have a copy of I-Movie? I'm sure it has the option of webcam recording. You could just capture directly to your editing software, make your edits and then render. This way you won't need to use any third party software.

iMovie, Final Cut or Quicktime. You can record on any of them. I'd recommend iMovie (or Final Cut if you know your way around it), then there's no need to import the video to edit because it's already there

I would suggest Final Cut if you can afford it. Its about as reliable as you can get, otherwise Imovie or Quicktime

I record using my iPhone and use FCPX depends if you want to do sit down blogs etc
