How To Properly Do A Review Video? (Disclosure)

Hi, how do you legally do a review video.

If you received a product in exchange for an honest review. Is it enough to put that disclosure in the description or does it have to be in the video too?


Putting a clear disclosure in the bottom of the description I can understand. But if you say that this i received this product for free or was paid to review this product in the video, viewers are immediately turned off and think that your just bs.


Does anyone here know?

Local law (e.g. in Germany or Great Britain) may require you to include a disclaimer inside your video. You furthermore need to check the paid product placement checkbox in the YouTube monetization setting for this video.
