How to [Politely] Ask People to Check Out Your Channel?

Just comment something genuine, and MEMORABLE. If you write something that sounds generic and copy and pasted, it will not stand out to the other comments that they get which say similar stuff. That way they are going to appreciate your insight, and want to know more of what you have to say which directly relates to them actively seeking out your channel :)

Best of Luck, hope this helps! :)

Maybe comment on a few of their videos and show that you are genuinely interested in them. Don't make "I make videos can you check out my channel" your first comment. When I see these comments I delete them immediately, because whatever compliments preceded this phrase were empty. Once you comment a few times and let them know you are an active subscriber, then you can tell them about a video you made, or they might just check out your channel on their own. Good luck :)

Yeah. just been genuine... I've gotten some big-ish channels to sub by adding to the conversations in the comments without pimping my channel... but really dont take advice from me, even though I got a couple of bigger channels to sub, I'm still a super tiny itsy bitsy fish.

If you like them become an active member on their channel, like and comment on multiple vids, I am sure they will check you out especially if they are small

The polite thing to do is to not ask. It is like walking up to somebody off the street and asking them about their yearly income or something. You usually get punched in the stomach for doing so.

Thank you all sososososo much! Those are really amazing tips, and like yeah hopefully things go well, good luck to you as well! Have a great day!

I think that leaving a nice comment is enough. If they are curious about Your channel they will probably check You out anyway. That's what I do. Maybe I'm nosy but I'm always interested in getting to know people who visit my channel.
I agree with most people here and was going to leave something similar to what ZombieBrain said. Don't mention your channel, if they are a small youtube channel they will see your comments and probably click your icon at some point. That is what I do anyway. If you specifically go mention your channel it will look like the only reason you are commenting is for self-promotion (even if it is, don't make it look that way).

When the channel is slightly bigger and you see that your comments get lost in the other ones try liking your own comment and using maybe any other accounts you have to like it as well. That way your comments will be more visible and attract more attention. (Please someone correct me if this is a very bad tactic because I have been using it sometimes :p)

I checked out your channel because of your super nice sig on here. I try to watch as many people's videos as possible, especially in the morning. If you get into the routine of genuinely watching people's content, getting yourself engaged in what their doing and generally making people feel positive and happy that they've chosen to spend their time making YT videos, then in honesty, they'll probably check out what you're doing too!

And if they like what you're doing, and can relate to you too, then you've probably gained yourself a sub! I never like the idea of pressuring people into watching my channel, so most of the time I just watch and engage with other's content, and as a by-product I'll generally get more views.

Subs/views are doing okay as a result of this, too. I've had YT for 5 weeks, developed some great friendships and earned 2.5k views, 141 subs, 500 twitter followers etc, and a whole $9 from adsense. Which isn't too bad IMO. A lot better than I anticipated. And also, I'm amazed and super happy at how nice just about everyone is!

You can either just straight up ask people for some constructive feedback, or post clever comments. It's up to you wich route you want to take.

Hello fabulous people!
Recently, I've been finding a lot of smaller YouTubers, and I'm glad to watch their videos, often I find I really enjoy them, and end up subscribing. I like to leave nice comments too cuz why not spread positivity? But I've been wondering, how do I ask them to check out my own channel? Like I'm fine if they don't want to, I love spreading positivity and nice words regardless, but like I also want to ask them to watch my videos without seeming too forward or as if I had an agenda, if that makes any sense tho, sorry .
Anyways, thanks for any suggestions you can give! If you want me to check out your channel I'd be glad to give you my opinion! Thank youuu!!
.
I only tell them to take a look if I did something similar to what they did or to show them something they may want to try (I do this a lot with slow mo dogs and GoPro stuff)
