I was able to be monetised with less than 200 views ever since Google bought out YouTube.

Yes, they monetise videos with any views nowadays, even 0, 1, 2 ect.

I wasnt aware of that, well its good to see those who hardly any views might be able to make something, in fact it could spur them on to doing more videos and going even further with YouTube. Thanks for the info Neakiaro.

I should have put in my introduction that I prefer to be called Chris.

Google want to make sure they get as much money as possible for the future. The majority of videos posted about 4 - 5 years ago did poor back then but nearly all of them have at least over 1,000 views, a ton of them have over a million. With how YouTube is going these days, in 5 years they would probably make billions off monetising videos with less than 50 views nowadays.
