How to get more people to comment on your videos

I recently noticed that I haven't given anyone on my channel an incentive to comment. So I thought of this idea where I give a shout out every week to whoever comments the best joke or pun on any of my videos. Every week at the beginning of one of my videos, I would read the joke aloud and give credit to the person who commented it. What do you guys think? And what other ideas do you guys think could get you more comments?

Good idea! Also, just generally ending the video with a provocative question might work. I'm talking as someone who barely gets any comments though so take that as you will..

Yeah thats a good idea, Just try to keep connected by mentioning them in your videos aswell!
