Hehe I am going to comment on this although I really am not pleased with the size of this partnership thread it is what is wrong with youtube in every way these days because people are stopping to make videos for the creativity and looking at this as a way to make money first and then maybe be creative after. Anyhow that is a topic for some other thread.

In business when you can't accomodate a customer, but would like them to return one is always courteous. So you send them to someone else with a decent reputation that can help them. The competition aspect is overplayed here as well (another issue with youtube now its become a race of popularity for many people and not about good video or creativity ... *tries to stop ranting*) Companies often work together to help each other along the way. Unless you have an exclusive monopoly on something its always good business to have as good a public image as possible. So helping other youtubers to seek their goal is in their best interest to keep youtubers around period.

i'm old that is why I learned crap along the way its a side affect of being around for awhile .. you get weather beaten but you also pick up knowledge and stuff.. although I remember my mother telling me when I was not even 20 that I was far wiser then she ever was or is and others telling me at the age of 15 I was 15 going on 30. I am an introvert which means I tend to soak up the world around me and socialize less which is good and bad. lol Anyhow yeah good um health or something haha.

haha to be honest I probably am the oldest active member here. I am not truly old but in comparison to the average age here on the forum which is probably around 20 you can call me "grandma". So I can tell you those stories yes you know our first tv was black and white and we didnt get colour tv till I was like 9 or 10 and it was huge and clunky and um we had vinyl records. Computers used punchcards and the computer on my desk is likely more powerful then the computers that filled entire rooms in
"those days" and um what else.. oh yes my first cellphone was about the sized of a brick and just about as heavy and I was 20 when I got it..

You waited until you were 20 to get a cell phone!?! OMGWTF!?!
Just kidding. I didn't get one until I was 17, so whatever. Some people get one when they're 12 or 13. That just blows my mind.
