I want to start not just getting subs or fans but i want to build a continous audience and am wondering how to do it.

Me too. I have my friends, but I want other people. So far, I think I've only had 1 subscriber who has stuck with me ever since the beginning n___n I hope I get more people to stick around and join my adventures with meee.

I think It all comes down to how well you advertise your product. I gained my audience though social media like this forum and Twitter.

An honest answer from me would just be to GIVE. Give to your subs. Meaning, show an interest in them, watch the channels of the people who sub you, sub back if you like their content, leave them comments, message them and say "hey how's it going! Just wanted to say hi!" Be a friend to them.
