The original post has been updated to reflect that you need 100 subscribers for a custom URL. This is down from the previous requirement of 500 subscribers.

In your YTtalk Personal Details settings, enter your YouTube username in the YouTube Username box. Then leave both boxes unchecked next to YouTube Channel URL Type.

Note that the subscribe button on your profile page will not work when using /c/Username URLs.

i tried this but is still directs me to a channel that doesnt exist! i considered buying the vip pass , will i be able to leave video links instead of channel links!

Yep! Just make sure you only post videos in the video sections or review section. Channel promotion anywhere else is against the rules.
