How much money for 10,000 views?

I still struggle to understand how adsense works exactly but it seems to have to do with how many people click on the adds more so than the views themselves. For example today we had 13,000 views on our videos and that came to $48 so you could see a similar figure from 10,000 views. I find the trick is to always put an add at the end of your video. Most people will click "skip" on the add at the start of your video but a lot of people are likely to leave the add at the end of the video running for various reasons like they left the room to answer the phone or a door to door salesman could have came to their front door or they could have just plain zoned out etc etc lol. but yeah, thats my tip. Dont put adds in the middle of the videos though, that just annoys people

Yes you are right it depends on how many of the viewers actually clicked the ad, although its both, you get more money for people actually clicking the AD. Mid-roll ads are not that bad of an idea if your video is longer than say 20 minutes and it is worth watching. Ad's at the end of a video are not a bad idea as long as you have them on before the video starts as well, only on relying on end-of video ads will get you nowhere unless majority of your viewers stay and watch 100% of your video meaning that your audience retention is in the 90 percentile
