How Much Do YouTube Contacts Matter?

I personally don't think it is much of a big deal, I have never seen the use for contacts.

Some people just add random contacts in hope you will check out their channel, or spam with messages, there really isn't any other purpose if two YouTubers want to communicate they will use something else lol. But if anyone wants to add me as a contact feel free i accept all lol

Sometimes I add contacts if I want to collab with them, or just complement them on their work. I'll also spam them with my videos ;D
