How far does the parody thing go?

I have two ideas in mind for animated videos, one where a character from a movie goes shopping, and the other is a reality show reinvented as a game show. I was gonna use the actual names of the character/host, but no video or audio clips from the original material.

I don't think that would be a copyright issue, then. The mere mention of a show/movie or a character isn't enough to raise any flags, as long as you aren't directly profiting it I imagine. Think of all the fanart and memes and parodies and cosplay videos that people do!
