How do i get a small ad like this?

ok so im still new so sorry if this is a noob question but here it goes....

ok so we have all seen these ads during videos.....

but today was the first time i clicked on one and it turned out to be a relatively small channel with about 39 subs so how do you get ads like this for our channels? anyone know?

You pay Google/YouTube to advertise your channel via AdWords.

Yeah, just go to the creator studio in YouTube. In the video section click the drop down error and then select promote. It will talk you through setting up an adwords account to run paid advertising. Really doesn't work though. You'll pay way to much to gain subs.
