How can I use After Effects in my gaming videos?

Does anyone know features in After Effects that would make my gaming videos better? Thanks if you left a tip!

I'm not sure you want to employ too many gimmicks really. What sort of thing were you thinking? Apart from Intro's and Outro's there's not a great deal that can be done with gaming footage. (Unless you want to go crazy and have the screen flip and flash colours)

I would definitely want something to make it look flashy, so screen-flipping and flashing colors would work well. How would I do that?

Have you ever used a compositor before? You need to familiarize yourself with keyframes and the Adobe Suite in general before attempting anything too extravagant. Youtube some tutorials and have a go.
