hmm, 36k+ views isn't enough for payment off BentPixels

They are one of the largest MCNs. They are not a shady network. I would join bent pixels 1000 times over before partnering with Machinima right now. To the OP, you should have earned $10-30. If they won't pay it, I honestly wouldn't even worry as you could make more than that working for a day at McDonalds... I do not believe they have a threshold though. Make sure you talk to someone directly at BentPixels not Console Kings. Good luck, but don't stress about it. :)

I understand what you are saying but the amount shouldn't alter things, them not paying it is flat out wrong. They are legally bound to pay their partners what they earn and they do not have a threshold.

True. I was not positive as to if they have a threshold or not. And what you say makes tons of sense. I once got a check from RPM for under $1, because of some weird technical stuff resulting in that balance being left. If they do not have a threshold, they should be paying it out, but something makes me feel like we are not reading a whole story here. I have never heard of BentPixels not paying partners, so that makes me think that the OP violated the contract in some way resulting in no need for the network to pay out. Its just speculation though. If all is true here, then you are right. They should make their payment legally.

I agree if he did violate the contract he shouldn't be paid, but from knowing him fairly well personally I am highly doubtful that he did anything to violate his side of the contract.

36k views is like 10 dollars, not kidding.

Sounds around right. What I don't get, is this Lego dude(I mean he does vids with Legos) who has 33 videos on YT that have quite good views but it's nothing super over the top. His views are about 5000 to 300000 views per vid(depending on the video) and everything inbetween like vids with 40000-50000 views and he claims in one video that he makes roughly 2000-5000$ a month. Is it me or does that sound hard to believe?(sorry for the off topic. It just reminded me)

Not true, you can't just say a certain amount of views is a certain amount of money, doesn't work that way. I got over 10 dollars from a video that only has 4thousand and something views.

I just checked. It is really weird how the money varies. I made 55$ for a video that has 180000 views which means about 32700 views per 10$. A different 32000 view video made 15$(50% more) and a video that has 5000 views that only made 4 CENTS in total( my other 5000 view vids made roughly about 10-20 cents). Speaking about big differences:eek:

Don't forget about the CPM. When I left I pretty much got a snobby message from one of Bent Pixels sub networks which I was with saying that the CPM for June was $10.65 if I remember correctly. I think I deleted the email I'll have to look.
