Hey i am new to this whole making video's thing loving it btw but i SUCK so much at the channel art i was wondering if anyone could fill me in on it a bit more , i have looked at video's ect but just really bad at it haha

Try looking at other's channel art and seeing what they've done. Try recreating the techniques, etc. they've used so you can learn how to use whatever graphics design programme you're using. After you've picked up a few basic techniques from that, go wild and make your own!

It kinda depends on what you want and how complex you'd want it to be. It's nowhere near expensive though.
