Headset Issues

So recently the headset I`ve had for almost 2 years broke so today I replaced them with the Tritton AX Pro+ headset,
Only problem is I keep getting this really annoying crackling/interference noise in the background even when I`m not listening to any audio.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
Googling brought up nothing an my 200€ headset isn`t usable....

Oh it sounds like there are loose connections somewhere. Unless you're able to take it apart and find out where I think you might need new headphones

Had a Google, seems to be a common problem but is usually solved by changing some settings round. Have a read of a few of the top pages:

Just found I was using the wrong cable, not my fault though, they were mis-labled Cable H was in Cable J`s bag....
