Having your own website around your channel

I Love YTtalk
Does anyone here have their own website which is sort of part of your channel? Something like a blog perhaps that you talk about your life, expertise and channel on? For those who dont have one, do you view peoples websites that are sort of linked to their YouTube? What makes you want to visit their website and do you visit again?

Personally I dont and I wouldn't have one unless I was an expert/guru. I do visit peoples though when I see them linked to in their About Me section, sometimes to get more info, sometimes just to have a look and sometimes to contact them if I need to. I dont often visit them again though.
 
I dont have my own i did have a blog but it didnt work out i like visiting peoples websites who have them because its nice to see what they have to say not on video as well and it tells me about there life more
