In my 10 months on youtube i have learn't so much. i managed to hit 500k without a single "viral" video, my most popular video has around 30k views. i have put a ton of effort and time in to making my little gaming channel. i have been pleasantly surprised by my growth. i have averaged 14 subs per day since the channel started which i am so chuffed with

a big thank you to the people on the forum. i have learn't so much in my time here and i hope that others feel i have given back and helped people with stuff i do know about

here is to the next 500k

Agreed. With all the hostility on the Internet (especially on YouTube and sites like Reddit where many try to promote) it's nice to have a bit of a haven here for support.

thank you mate, the spike was because originally 90% of my videos for the first few months were concentrated on one game, football manager 2016. the idea behind that was i could carve out my own little niche as FM16 is badly represented on youtube. then near the end of may a new game came out that i wanted to play and make videos about (warhammer total war) so now 80% of my content is split between those two games, and i got a big jump from all the warhammer fans checking out my guides

Half a million views in only 10 months that's amazing! What got you started and what motivated you to keep going? :) Congratulations on all the hard work and effort you've put into your channel.
