haha I generally don't show my work because it stinks lol the only work ive done and liked is actually on my banner I did the controller, music wave and gameover in adobe flash with line tools then just some easy color changes but yours looks nice what do you use to make your's
 
It looks good! Although it would've been better if the sides also had some colour, but besides of that, it's awesome :) I don't really like the new layout either, but I already installed it so I can get used to it.
