I have a strong feeling that this is too good to be true. Can anyone post a before and after pic?
It is too good to be true. The type of video will impact whether it looks ok or not. It's just stretching standard resolution horizontally to widescreen. It will look poor just like scaling 720p up to 1080p would.

If you are making gaming videos and can't figure out why you have black bars. You need a 16:9 resolution monitor to play record preview on. Just the way the world has gone, to 16:9

1920 x 1080
1280 x 720

If my videos have black bars they are there for a reason....I know, that was kind of a douche response. Okay, bye.
