Getting B role footage for a pro sports channel

My friends and i are planning to start a channel where we talk about professional sports. If we are talking about the nba, it would be nice to mix in clips from games, etc. Im guessing that is all copyrighted. I had another thought to use video game footage, but it seems 2k sports is intentionally vague on their stance.

Does anyone have any other good ideas?
 
It sounds like ea sports lets people use their stuff. Would that be a good solution? Use nba live gameplay for b roll?
