Maybe you used a type of "view for view" service or credit program? They aren't legitimate views and many YouTubers fall for them, unfortunately.
 
Considering I wouldn't waste my money buying views, you're not making a point in my mind. If someone truely has nothing better to do buy waste money on something like that then good luck to them.
 
Oh yes i deffinitly view botted... do you not read? I have never view botted take it to the other forum about this of me getting accused for view botting...
 
Ok, this is getting out of hand. If someone can't make a post without being accused of view-botting and just creating chaos then it isn't worth it. If you have something to accuse me of, or mtndewaddict, or anyone else for that matter, please take it to another forum, because this isn't the place for it. I've never used a viewbot, quite frankly I don't think it's worth the time or money. You can think what you want, but lets not all get into a ******* contest over it on a forum thread.
 
Look, I get it. You don't want to be branded. But I have been at this since 2005. I've gotten spikes of hundreds of legitimate subs an hour without paying in my heyday (god that sounds so old... Also trying to stage a comeback, what a has-been I am). And let me tell you how it happens:

- Featured related video
- Popular in your category
- Damn good SEO
- Featured in huge channel's videos
- Featured in huge channel's sub box

You can even have a video go viral and not see subs from it, because it's off-site (I've had several). If you are honest, people can get past this. But you didn't just get those views.

I don't know what you did, but it wasn't get a bunch of new subs from one of those things, as none of them are even vaguely likely for a beginner. You can think playing innocent is going to work, but it will not. I'm not angry at you and neither should be anyone else here, and there is no shame if you come clean and stop doing it.

Just don't expect anyone to listen if you do not. And I'm saying this as friendly as I can because I do not want to persecute you. Lynch mobs are WAY worse than botting subs, and if I see that happen here I will be very upset with this community.
 
I came home one day, received a message from my friend via steam saying "hey congratz on the views". I had absolutely no idea what he was talking about. I came home, and looked on my computer and saw that. I have absolutely no idea how it received that many views. I do know for a fact that I have not used any bot or anything around that to give myself the views. I appreciate your comment, and I'm telling the complete truth in this post. I was as surprised as anyone else, because every other video I have uploaded has a maximum of maybe 40 views. This was a complete shock to me. I personally do not know alot about things such as view bots and such, because I've never wanted to waste the time or money for it. If I really did use one I'd admit it, because it's come to the point that this thread is getting out of hand. If I had any idea how it happened, I would tell, because it doesn't make sense to me either.

You can always go into your YouTube analytics. That should give you some information on where your views are coming from.
