I guess not all people are a fan of that kind of stuff :/

I actually do enjoy HTF, because instead of it being a mindless gore fest, it's actually creative in its scenarios and situations.

I'm just not a fan of other animation/films like that because they try to hard to shock you until it becomes stupid.

I can't really see where you are getting this from. I didn't feel like they were trying to hard to shock me when I watched it. Maybe we have different point of views.
