I really love this headshot of you, it compliments you very well! It looks beautiful! However, I think that the word "MUSIC" looks a bit corny, especially since it looks like a basic text style you'd use in Microsoft Word. Do you know what I mean? I just feel like it looks like copy paste, like it doesn't belong there. I don't know what I think it should be, but the bright and vibrant word doesn't match the calm and serene image. It seems like most people here disagree, but whatever, take my advice for what it's worth. :p

Yeah I can kind of see what you mean....I wanted to go for a text that was really clear, because the avatar is so small. Plus, I didn't want to cover up too much of my face. I do know what you mean though.....I'm thinking, even if the word Music was a brighter pink, it might pop out more. Damn, I need my computer back :(
 
Again im gonna say it. I think Simple is better. The focus is Obv on her not the word music. I think its fine how it is. As it stands now the 1st thing you really see the face then the word music. I dont think (or atlest I wudnt) want to put emphases on the word music as its YOUR channel not the musics:p . Anything more would over take your face and I dont really think thats necessary.

I agree with TheStealthyOne, it should look simple. Just make sure it also looks natural, as that's a big way to make sure it looks professional. I think making it a duller tone while maintaining the headshot at its colors would be good. I also think that the word "MUSIC" is a bit generic, there's no life to it!
 
I like the picture, but the text is bugging me for some reason and I can't quite put my hand on it. Possibly it's the combination of the font/color/stroke used just makes it.. bland yet glaring at the same time.

My only suggestion would be to look at some fonts on the Dafont website, and see if you find anything you like. I'd also consider resizing/moving the font to the bottom left of the picture so it's overlaying the face less, allowing the background to pop out more and the text to settle in as a part of the image somewhat. Consider using a color that doesn't require a stroke to stand out, or replace the stroke with a soft glow or a faded drop shadow.
