Dispute claim gaming video?

Hi everyone. I just uploaded my first part of my Saints Row 4 playthrough. I was given written permission by Koch Media/Deep Silver to upload and monetize their game footage. However, when I uploaded it, it got a third party match which says it is claimed by Collective. I heard of the Collective network before but why do they claim footage of Saints Row 4? I was given permission to monetize the game by the publishers, do I dispute the claim?

Don't think that Collective Network has the rights to claim Saints Row 4 and if you have written permission that you can monetize it I shouls dispute a claim. But make sure Collective is not about the music or something else. Because I don't think you have the rights to monetize music.

I have commentary but the claim can't be because of music because it tells you the time of the claim and it says 12 seconds into the video which is when the characters start talking in a cutscene.

Dispute it! ;) You have written permission and therefore you shouldn't get any problems with this claim ;)

You have no claim. The copyright issue is the song played during the intro cutscene. For the remainder of your playthrough, make sure to turn the ingame music off. It will nearly all be content matched due to all being popular music.

For the first video, take it down and remove the cutscene in the chopper. Then you won't have the problem.

I have the same rights from deepsilver. Collective is claiming the audio in the cutscene. You are not allowed to show cutscenes. They give you the rights to do a "lets play" style video. A cutscene is simply a video they made, so you cannot show this. It is not your playing in the cutscene. Don't dispute that claim.

Thanks guys. When I got permission I just assumed I was allowed to show cutscenes as well. But I already submitted the dispute, what do I do now?

If its music that makes problem, you can remove claimed sound/music from Youtube video editing dashboard on same video, no need to edit offline and reupload.

I removed that way music / sounds from a couple of videos or video parts which were claimed by third party and videos became normal and monetizeable!

The part in question is not just music. It's music and character dialog. The scene is best completely removed rather than muted.
