Curse/Union For Gamers. Opinions needed

Jerry D'Erasmo

I've Got It
Not signed with anyone yet...simply just building my channel up the best I can to achieve the best I can out of all this...but I came across Curse/Union For Gamers today. Does anyone have any info on them, or any opinions on them? Is it worth checking into, because I pretty much have my top choices at the moment. Their website doesn't seem to be updated since New Years and they don't have a list of requirements I can find either. Anyway, any info would be fantastic. Thanks guys

They look for 3k+ subscribers, they used to be under Maker Studios but are now independent.
They pay 3$ fixed CM, which can be good or bad

They seem nice as they gave a un-expected raise of 10% to their partners in December.

Can you explain why you think 3$ CPM would be bad? Just want to gather as many opinions as I can before my time comes
Because I personally have never gotten under a $4 CPM, and usually not under 6$, so getting 100% of $3 would make me less than I usually do.
People think it`s great because they can see their future as safe, although most of the time with a fixed contract the network would need a clause to say if they`re making a loss of your channel, they can drop you with 10-30 days of notice.

Here's what I know about them:
1) Fixed $3 CPM
2) No contract (30-day notice to leave at any time)
3) Strict 1000 sub requirement (I didn't get in with 998 subs)
4) They're a new network
5) They're highly regarded as a good network. Haven't heard anything bad about them at all. A $3 CPM can be good or bad, so it's not a bad thing about them unless you think it is.
6) Here's their forums if you want to see members' opinions: www . unionforgamers . com / forum

2) they have a contract... It just has no lock-in

A friend of mine (www.youtube.com/vlahka) is with them. They're decent enough, he's had no trouble from what I can tell.

So your Network pays you upwards of what you mentioned above from the gate or is that depending on other factors? 3$ CPM has been the best I have seen and I have been researching monthly. For a gaming channel such as mine, what Networks do you honestly say I take a look at. My top 3 at the moment are TGS, TGN and Vultra. Machinima was my #1 but I have read too many negative comments concerning them

Vultra and TGS both payout very high CPMs, TGN I`m not so sure about...
I personally don`t see many partners get so little on a percentage based contract that they`d have to go for fixed.
