First of all, YouTube says something along the lines of: External sources don't count as an impression
I see my impressions increase every time I promote my channel on an external website, so maybe these people are visiting my channel, thus boosting my impressions? I'm hoping someone else has imput here.
Also, I looked at my CTR before and after my latest promotion and my CTR took a .3% decline, which is relative to my total impressions.
Does promoting a channel typically decrease CTR?
I like to search for my own videos to see my ranking in search....does this count as an impression?
