Educating is never a waste of time. People should now what they are doing and what the risk is, or how minimal it is, but there is a difference between minimal and none.

What the fudge are you talking about? There are several browser plug-ins, websites and even self-standing programs created especially for downloading videos from YouTube and other similar video-streaming websites...

Which are in violation of the Terms of Service. Just read em... There are even more services that offer botted views, that's not really an argument.

Google usually doesn't really pay too much attention to people violating this point of the ToSes, but they do like to throw it at people if they are p****d at them - see Mircosoft's YouTube app for windows phone.
 
So you're telling me that YouTube honeslty believes that vloggers such as Ray William Johnson actually use the YouTube editor to insert the reviewed videos in their episodes... ? :laugh2: Oh wow! YouTube staff probably believes in the Easter Bunny as well...
 
It depends what the CC license covers...There is many different ones. The owner should state what you are allowed to use the ____ for
