Leave it until you are eligible for a partnership.
OR, activate monetization on your channel, dont monetize any videos so you can get the custom thumbnails before the partnership.

They pay you a portion of what they make for the ads they put on your channel

I know, and especially for games you might get a bad screen of the gameplay.
Its said that you need to wait 30 days with good standing before getting it, but ima tell you that its gonna take a bit more than that.
